President’s Message February 23, 2023

We had a great annual meeting on Feb. 15 with good owner turnout & participation.

As you know by now, our great past President, Dan Lynaugh, resigned leaving a huge gap – an empty space.  A few of Dan and his boards accomplishments over the years were:

  1. Thanks to IRMA
    1. New roofs with trusses, gutters & downspouts
    1. New carport – Bldg. 6
  2.  Painted entire complex & added new lighting & dryer vents
  3.  Remodeled cabana kitchen & replaced pool furniture
  4.  Dug irrigation well
  5.  Installed new electric boxes for the 12-unit buildings
  6.  Renovated circle area with palm trees & patio
  7.  Installed Leaf Filter on Bldg. 8 as a pilot gutter project
  8.  Replaced bulletin boards
  9.  Installed bike rack
  10.  Established our website

We can’t thank Dan enough for his tireless energy and leadership! And, YES, he’ll still call Bingo every Tuesday night at 5 pm in the cabana.

After the annual meeting, the board met briefly to elect officers who are:

              Gayla Boss, President

              Leigh Adams, Vice President

              Jane Hauck, Treasurer

              Joanie Iandimarino, Secretary

              Vacancy, Member at Large

Refer to the bulletin boards for contact information.

We are soliciting owners who want to serve on our Board aka Team Greenfield.   Contact Sandcastle, if interested.

As you are aware, I’ve been serving as Treasurer over the past several years, so I’m hoping for a smooth transition into the Presidency.  We plan on continuing with current ongoing projects but always welcome new ideas on how to improve Greenfield Village but keep the family feel to our great community.

I implore you to participate in our community.  Get out and meet your neighbors.  Volunteer for projects that you’re passionate about.  It’s truly rewarding!  Join us for our St. Patrick’s Day Pot Luck on Friday, March 17 in the Cabana.  BYOB

Our website has lots of good information about Greenfield Village – please visit it regularly –

I hope everyone stays safe & well in 2023!

Gayla Boss, President
